An in-the-moment practice for women

Clarity arrives in the moment the dilemma is still alive.

An experiential practice that helps women untangle live dilemmas until what matters becomes unmistakable — and they can move forward with agency and momentum.

About Chavah

A practice built from a quiet conviction: the moment is the medicine.

I am Chavah Rochel Golden. For decades I have worked alongside leaders, learners, and quiet thinkers — designing programs, holding rooms, and meeting people inside the questions that matter most to them.

What I kept noticing was this: when a dilemma is alive — when it still has heat — clarity moves quickly. When the same dilemma is revisited weeks later, in a scheduled appointment, the energy has cooled and the truth has gone underground.

So I built a practice around the live moment. Not weekly sessions. Not packages. A direct line, available when the dilemma is energetic, so that what matters can become unmistakable while it is still untangleable.

"Sort and name. Understand and gain objectivity. Express and solve. Educate the feelings."

The in-the-moment method

What makes this different.

This is not coaching as you have known it. It is not therapy. It is an experiential, present-tense practice for women who want to grow in motion.

01

No appointments

Reach out when the dilemma is alive. The practice meets you where the energy is, not three weeks from Tuesday.

02

Energetic, not scheduled

We work while the question still has heat. That is when clarity is possible and movement is fastest.

03

Untangle, then name

Sort and name what is actually present. Distinguish noise from signal. Educate the feelings.

04

Forward motion

This is not venting and it is not for victims. It is for learners who want to own their agency with joy.

The offering

Experiential support, when the question is still warm.

One offering. One way of working. Designed to meet you where the dilemma is, and to leave you with momentum you can carry into the rest of the day.

In the moment

A live dilemma. A direct line. Clarity that lasts.

  • Untangle a live decision while it is still energetic
  • Sort signal from noise on a question that will not settle
  • Work through a relational, leadership, or creative dilemma in real time
  • Walk away with what is unmistakable — and the next honest move

The process

Four movements — start to finish, in a single living moment.

01

Reach out

Call or write the moment the dilemma surfaces.

02

Meet in the moment

We connect while the question still has charge.

03

Untangle what matters

What is unmistakable becomes visible.

04

Move forward

Walk away with clarity, agency, and momentum.

"
We spent a full day talking about what we'd learned from the program you asked us to design for the University of Chicago. As our original team, we have brought the work to inner-city high-school kids, the Mattel leadership team, and others. You deserve enormous credit for supporting the idea at the beginning and then making it happen. Very risky.

Most coaches are in the moment, but not in the whole. Chavah is wholly invested in her clients' work, taking whatever they are doing very seriously. Her communication skills are beyond measure.

I have had the privilege of working with Chavah Golden as a consultant to my firm. One of her projects was to help design and develop a workshop based on a model I created.

Golden In the Moment is for actualizing. It's not for venting, and it's not for victims. GITMO is a way of making it work. It sinks in. Happens in a day. We concretize it, it becomes a chain reaction, and it lasts.

Dance Professor, DePaul University
"
I have worked closely with Chavah for more than 25 years, and I am continually impressed with her work. I am pleased to recommend my colleague Chavah Golden.

Golden's in-the-moment approach is THE approach. Chavah is a companion in the midst of those overwhelming moments where we need trusted assistance for perspective. If you only need to vent, she's not for you. If you want to sort and name, understand and gain objectivity, express and solve, and educate your feelings — then call her in the moment with your dilemma. It is the path for learners who desire growth in motion and to own their agency with joy.

Frequently asked

What women ask before they call.

If your question is not here, the most honest answer is usually a short conversation.

You reach out when a dilemma is energetically alive — by phone or message. We meet while the question still has charge, untangle what is present, and you leave with what is unmistakable so you can move.

Women who want to grow in motion. Learners who want to own their agency. It is not for venting and it is not for those who want to stay in the role of victim.

Most coaching is in the moment but not in the whole; therapy often revisits the past. This practice is whole-person and present-tense: it meets a live dilemma at the exact moment it can be transformed.

No. The point of the practice is that you do not wait. Reach out when the dilemma is alive — that is the appointment.

A warm, direct response. We will meet as soon as the moment allows. Come with the dilemma, not a polished version of it.
